RCV 91CD in a Four Star 60?

RE: RCV 91CD in a Four Star 60?
I've not used the CD myself but it sounds like a good option to me. The low profile head should fit nicely. Being 1:1 gear ratio, there should be no problem with prop ground clearance. The open cowl design of the 4 * will provide plenty of cooling. Have you done a breakin yet? I've read reports that the CD engines put a lot of oil out the crank breather. Some have built small oil capture containers out of film canisters to help keep their planes cleaner.

Hi Scott,
No, have not finished the break-in yet. Problem with the park flyers taking over the break-in stands. I'll get to it.
It certainly did oil up my test stand when I ran it for the first time. As for getting the aircraft oily, well I am not a slimer for no reason!

Ahh yes, those pesky parkfliers. Just take a fly swatter or a can of raid on your next trip to the basin
I guess I was lucky, they weren't around when I broke in my 90SP.
