I apologize of this isn't the right forum for this, I couldn't decide where to put it.
A coworker of mine has some items for sale:
Combat Models F16n complete kit purchased in '96 or so and never started.
O.S. 61 NIB bought in about 2000.
O.S. tuned pipe for the above engine.
Robart retracts.
.75 oz glass cloth
Here's the thing. He won't separate the items, he wants to sell them all together. I'm not sure if I want the model since I don't think I could fly it yet and I have never dealt with a foam and fiberglass kit before so it would sit untouched for some time before I attempted to build it. ( I do like the kit otherwise) So what I'm wondering is what you guys think and how much I should be willing to pay for these things. I definitely want the other items and I may be able to get a good deal.

I bought the same kit built for $400.00 w/o the engine and tuned pipe. Then I had to meet the guy half way to pick it up. (too large to ship). The kit I think went for around $250.00 , throw in the cost of the engine and retracts it could easily cost you $500.00 or more if you buy everything seperately. Have someone help you with the assembly and glassing if you are not expirienced with working woth foam. I think the plane is concidered a collectors item because Combat Models went out of buisness a few years back. I may not ever get to flying mine but it sure looks cool in my shop and make for a great conversation piece. Make sure the VHS video and all the foam pieces are still with the kit. Combat Models was know for not sending a complete kit.
