Default GP RV4 parkflyer kit

Hello, I am trying to find someone who has built the Great Planes Electric RV4 park flyer kit. I am new to building an would like to find a little assistance with assembly, things to look for, which power option, and etc. If anyone could help that would be great so maybe I could have this kit built for the spring time.

Thanks Steve.

It is possible to build the kit before spring. One problem I ran into was covering. Don't use monokote, use econokote. Make sure that you don't shrink it too much otherwise it will crush the plane. Be careful when sanding things so that you don't sand it too thin. The instructions in the manual are pretty good as far as I remember. Regarding power options, I just went with the cheapest option of the t-400 motor. That was a big mistake! It flew so slow it was hard to manuever. If you can, go with LiPo batteries and a brushless motor. It will be so much better. As far as what would be a good choice, I'm not sure. Oh yeah...the tail wheel is terrible, and the ailerons will warp if you are not carefull with covering.

Good luck!

Thanks Spiffy, any info on the build for this palne will be greatly appreciated. This will be my first build and on the describtion from the box it says, "designed to be the 2 or third build", or something like that. We will see though. I have almost all the nessesary building materials, all I need is the covering and the heating gun. Thanks for the tip with the econokote covering. I'll be sure to use that. Thanks again. Steve
