Are there any manufacturers that offer a "Ugly Stick" plane in kit form. I cant beleive that this is only available in ARF.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think you are out of luck on finding a current production Stick kit. I believe the last manuf to offer a Stick kit was Great Planes and it was called either a Super Stick, or Ultra Stick.

If you're dead set against an ARF, and who can blame you if you are, it wouldn't be that tough to cut your own kit from the RCM Ugly Stick plans.

Good luck,
John

Yep...if your looking to build a Stick, and have the skills to do so, get some plans and cut it yourself. The hole plane can be made for probably less the $30 of wood.

Take a look at the Long John series at http://www.cheaplanes.com/

I built the the small one for a .25 engine and it is a very simple plane to build with outstanding performance.

House of Balsa makes a Stick Kit for .10 power. I have one, just waiting for my 4* to get done.
