Does anyone know of a kit larger than a 72" wingspan, but smaller than a 30-33% scale kits available for either a G-202 or a G-300? Ideally looking for an 82 - 86" wingspan gasser kit.

Hi TiGuy! I'm just finishing up a Ohio RC 27% Giles G-300. I know that They have gone out of business, but there might still be a few stray kits left out there somewhere. The Kit builds well although it is not for the inexperienced builder. The Giles is a 75" wing and rated for 1.20 to 1.80. I'm running an O.S. 1.60FX with a JR 8301. It builds pretty light (11.5-12 lbs)and uses rear-fuse servo mounting for elevator & rudder. I am still trying to find someone who has built and flown the kit so I can get a better idea of what to expect. An article that appeared in RCM didn't really get in depth on the flight aspects. May someone out there has one ?
