I am considering covering a 4 star 40 wing with Hanger 9 "lite transparent blue"
Im not sure if "lite" is pertaining to the color or the strength.
If its the strength, would it work ok being that the 4 star wing is dependant upon the covering for its strength?

i've got a four star .40 and the wing was pretty flimsy torsionally until covered. I'm not sure about that covering as i am partial to monokote but if it is referring to the weight or strength i wouldnt use it. That wing is very light anyway.

I would be careful using the "lite" products. This usually means that the film is thinner. While this is great for weight savings on small models, you will be trading strength for weight.
The wing is not all that torsionally strong as previously indicated, IMO due to the lack of LE sheeting.
Go with the regular covering, you will not be sorry. You will not even notice the weight savings.

Thanks for your input on that. I wasnt thinking about weight as much as wanting the transparent effect, just didnt know if it would be as strong as the regular colors.
