Gold Addition
#2
Top Flite had several releases of their kits . "Red Box / Yellow Box" Kits were from the 70's/ 80's traditionally drawn and die crunched parts. The "Gold Edition" kits are the newer ones that are CAD drawn ( a total redesign) and die crunched parts.

Well I have found out what Gold means
I finally got my 1/7 P51 and opened the box and looked at the parts great looking balsa, good plans and instruction book. Then I got to the so called Ply wood
[:'(] when you punched out the parts the ply came appart in sheets[:@] the gold turned brown in a hurry. Then came the crunch parts looked like the blade got dull or it is the last kit they are going to make
Well I started this thead and found out the answer . I think I will go see what the sheeting is like[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
