Just had to attach a great looking low wing design built from a bashed Sig Kadet Senior kit. This was entered in the IMS 2002 static display.
Really an interesting idea. I think I will work towards doing something like this myself. Anyone see this at the show or know who did this one?
How about you, any Kadet Senior bashing yourself? I am looking for aircraft ideas where I can build the wing at 80" for IMAA acceptance.

That beauty was built by Dick Mattie of the Santa Fe Dam R/C Modelers. I don't have an email address for him, but you can leave a message for him at http://www.SFDRCM.com.
It has barn door ailerons and it will literally fly rings around the stock Senior Cadet.

Jim, thanks for the information. Since I belong to the San Gabriel Valley Radio Control League (Whittier Narrows) it shouldn't be too hard for me to track him down. Thanks!

That is one sharp looking Kadet!
There's a collection of Kadet projects at Paul Burke's site (aka Sparky, aka Crumudgeon)... it includes another low wing conversion and lots of flapped, twin-boomed, resized, reshaped, camera-equipped, and otherwise modified Kadets... and the one above definitely deserves to be there.
His site is at http://home.earthlink.net/~pjburke1/aindex.html
