Default What size spinner?

Hi all -

How do I know what size and shape spinner to put on my plane? I'm building a PT-40 with an O.S. .46AX and a 10x6 prop.

Thanks

James,
I've never had that plane, but the instructions should give you an idea of what size spinner to use. Most of the time the spinner size will be dictated by the plane and not by the engine/prop size.

Attached is taken from the PT-40 manual. That answer would be a 2-1/4" spinner
