My father-in-law just back from CA on a vacation. While he was there the realitive he was staying with had just purchased a used plane, full scale. It was a Cesna, he said a 140. I had not heard of such a plane but he brought back some pictures. I was a Cesna set up as a tail dragger. Two person plane and it looked a little smaller that a 152. Has anyone ever seen this plane. I fell in love with the pictures and want to build one. Has anyone ever seen a kit of this plane. I know I could get the drawings of the plane and go from there, but thats a lot of work.

The 140 Cessna was the 150/152 of its' day. Jack Stafford has a kit of this airplane. I have flown in two. Very cozy cabin, best to know whom your flying with fairly well. There are a few of these planes left and in flyable condition. Cessna, along with many other builders, started out with tail draggers and eventually switched to trike gear.
