West Systems Epoxy

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if West Systems epoxy 205/206 mixed with resin is as good as the 105/109 series. What is the difference and can you thin it with denatured alcohol to apply 1/2 ounce cloth?

I have used the 206 hardner and isopropyl alcohol to attach and seal half ounce cloth. It worked just fine for me.
