I'm very new to building RC kit's, but I'm not new to flying rc airplanes. This is probably a really stupid question, but if I'm going to ask it anywhere, I'm going to ask it here. You see, I don't know how to glue the parts of the kit together without getting them stuck to the table or whatever I put underneath. Could you guys either tell me your techniques for gluing or point me in the right dirrection so I can figure this out? Thank you for your time.

Use wax paper. Glue sparingly. If using thin CA, only a couple of drops per joint is needed. Don't glob it on. If the parts do stick to the wax paper, they're easily broken loose and the paper peeled off.

There are no stupid questions! Start with a nice flat building surface. Tape the plans to the surface, then put wax paper (some use plastic wrap) over the plans. Tape in place. There are plastic plan savers available also. Now go build that plane!

Save the backing that comes off your monokote, it is perfect for covering plans.

That sounds good. I'll just use wax paper. Thanks again!
