Hi guys-
I'm working on my Laser 3D and am ready to start covering...I think. What's the standard order of installation? Install the canopy, then the covering? Or the covering then the canopy? My Pizazz has the canopy over the covering and it's really only tolerable in terms of its looks. So, should the canopy go over the covering, or should the covering go over the canopy? Well, the edges of the canopy anyway.
Thanks!
Reid

in fact, I usually use a trim line from the matching color of the covering to give a more "finished look"
If you try to iron with the canopy in place you have also a risk to ruin your canopy with the eat of the ironing tool

Cover then add the canopy last. You might want to try someting I just did on a 4 * 60. Painted the inside of the canopy black then used matching Ultrakote strips to trim out the canopy frame. After the frame was trimmed out, I used thin black trim tape to mark the canopy seam. Be careful when you cover a canopy with covering. Use just enough heat to activate the adhesive, you don't want to melt the plastic. Little bit of care and you will be pleased with the result. Hope this helps. BTW read this tip a long time ago on the old RC online.
