Need help finding an old kit. F-106
I need some help finding an old kit. I had one back in the early 90's. (ok, its not that old)
I thought it was produced by Flite Line Products but I could be wrong....
F-106 Delta Dart. .40 size. The wing was built by gluing 1/4 inch (or so) planks together. There was no airfoil, the fuse was just a box where the whole top came off to access the interior. Non functional rudder.
I put a Royal .46 on it and it was very fast and I was half afraid of it so I sold it. Now I want one back and have looked on and off for a couple of years and cannot find it.
I noticed Lone Star was re-kitting the Scat Cat but they don't have an F-106...
Can anyone verify the manufacturer?
How about a source? (or one sitting in your garage?)
Thanks.

I did build one of those for a friend back in the day but I was too chicken to try to fly the thing! I was there when the local club expert maidened it and suprisingly it actually flew pretty well!...I'll try to dig up some pics and post them...sorry can't help you with finding a source...Good luck though...keep us posted...Johnny

Yes, I also used a mechanical mixer..as you said, no rudder, just ailevators (with at least 10 degrees of positive reflex) and throttle....I think they got a dozen or so flights out of her before the motor died at a bad time.....it didn't quite make it back to the runway from what I remember...not the best glide ratio
