Default Help with Giant Extra 330L GP kit

Hi, I'd appreciate some help from some-one whose built this plane. ON p 36 of manual, step 16 says to cut some "fuse side shapers". I can;t find these on the plan or in the illustrations. I've read the direction 10 times, and still can't visualize where the shaper goes?

Any insight welcomed. Ain't the puzzles of model building grand!

They have that Q on their FAQ on the GP site.

from there:>>>

This is a small balsa stringer that is simply cosmetic. Rather than having a hard edge where the sheeting ends and the stringers begin, these shapers simply create a smooth transition from the sheeting to the stringer-only look at the back of the fuse. Simply sand the shaper into a soft gradual taper into the stringers.

The directions are definitely weak.
I have been watching my father build one.Fortunately he is smart and has good common sense because the directions are very misleading and sometimes contradict the plans or the photos.I went ahead and bought one for myself.
How far along are you? What radio gear and engine are you going to use?
Also, what control horns are you using?
