I did some slight modifications to a kit and want to change the shape of the canopy. I can force it into the shape I want by pushing it on the fuse, but worry that the glue can't hold it.
Does anyone know the best way to reshape it to hold the shape I push it into?
thanks

Do you have a heat gun? that could help some place your canopy on your fuse place your heat gun on low & lightly pass the heat gun by the canopy to give it the shape you want on it . but do'nt leavbe it on there to long or the canopy will melt.

Boy, I would build a plug to help you shape it or you are going to distort the canopy like crazy when you heat it. How far off is it? Can you just trim some off the high spots to make it fit properly? If you use heat and don't do it perfectly, it will be ruined.

Its not close to what I want naturally. Can you heat it up in an oven and put it into position? I am afraid heating the whole thing up will make it to soft to work with without a plug.
Any advice?

If you heat it enought to work with it, you will destroy the shape. It will sag. I would make a plug and have one made. I have a vac former that I got last year for canopies. Havent used it yet but the guy I got it from pulle a bunch and they look good. I wouldn't try to heat the one you have and re-shape it witout some kind of plug. I am almost certain you will trash it.
