I'm hoping to start to build the TF Bonanza kit soon and I am looking for a cheaper set of retracts other than the Robarts. Does anyone know what other retract can be used that are just as reliable and cost less?

Many years ago I build this plane and used Carl Goldberg retratcts as shown on the plans, they worked well. You might find a set at swap meet.

He is looking for retracts for the Top Flite Bonanza. Bet you had a SIG Bonanza. No way in the world C/G retracts would work in this bird, if they were still available.
You can probably find some cheaper retracts, but it may not be worth the headache to retrofit, and they might not hold up.
