i've got the 27% 300L bought the kit 95% built. but i haven't flown mine yet either. trying to finish a couple things before i start on it.

Kit builds quite easily if you have experience, if you don't then take your time. Only reason it will give some people problems is the fact the directions are not quite up to par. If you read ahead and look at what you are doing you will have no problem. As far as flying it is a easy plane to fly without any bad habits. Very aerobatic in both the IMAC and 3-D areas.

I don't think most builders would want to get too agressive in lightening the build of this plane. Mine is stock(34%), except for Graphtech gear, and weighs just 26 pounds and change (weighed it today, as a matter of fact!) Mine flys well and is my IMAC contest plane.
Good kit, light weight, and a good flying plane.
