I think theplane is used by "Fighter Combat" for a training plane. Check this link [link]http://www.apstraining.com/extra/[/link]

okay well it seems like 4 ever on this dude but i have been working on it and changing things as i go

the first picture here you can see i cut out the old firewall and made a new one and its not all cut up like the old one,i got longer standoffs and im going in that direction so my firewall is not all hacked up,ignitio box is then remounted as well

the next one is the switch is place for the ignition

then the next one is the 2 other switches in place and the power panel moved to its new location,i moved this so i do not need new leads put in and ill just need them for the airlerons and thats it,also you can see the laser kill switch box mounted as well

im shooting for this weekend to have it all done and balanced out

hey jgfan i moved the fuel tank up just for better fuel pickup being closer to the motor im not that far off Cg ,plus it gives me room to get to wing bolts on as thats another change i added so i dont have to mess with the wing tube botls ill be bolting it inside the fuse ill post pictures when im done with that

Theo,

Hey buddy hows the plane coming? I'm just now covering mine! I will have to post some pics tomorrow. I had to take a break on mine for a while but Im back at it now. I guess I got burnt out on it. Well that and I bought a new motorcycle and it was getting all of my attention there for a while. But any way just thought I would say hi.

Steve,

Good to finally here from you again. Here are the pics I promised. I got the tail section finished finally. All theail section servo's in and working. I also have the bottom of one wing panel covered as well, then I ran out of jet white monokote. my order from Tower hobbies sould be here by wednesday so I can get covering again.

I made it to the Toledo Show. Man was that fun. Have you ever been to the Weak Signals Toledo R/C Show? I thought you swaid you lived in Mich so I did'nt know if you ever made it down for one or not. It was my first time going and let me tell ya. They had any thing and every thing you could imagine. I felt like a little kid in a candy store.

Any ways just wanted to send you a few pic's. So here they are. Have you come up with a covering scheme yet?

I have been out flying a few times in the past weeks. Cant wait to get this big bird up.
Talk at you later.

Steve,

Well I finally have the wings covered. Here are a few pics. I hope to have mine covered and ready to fly this week end coming. I'm going to try to do some turkey hunting in the mornings and try to fly the big bird in the evenings on saturday or sunday. Knowing my luck I will have it ready to go and it will rain or the wind will be blowing to strong.

I look forward in seeing pics of your plane covered. We have come so far.

Take care and hope you get a chance to work on your plane.

Steve,

Here are a few of the latest pics.

The only thing left to do is to finish monokoting the fuse. I am going to try to put her up on Saturday, providing we have good weather. I hope this might motivate you to get yours finished as well. I know what its like working all the hours, man it sucks!

Hey I hope you get a chance to work on yours soon.

Well here they are pics of the plane just about finished. The only thing left is to put the stripe on. She comes in at 24lbs, but I need to add some weight in the front to balance it out. I hope to have it out to the flying field this week end.

Hey guys, I just picked one of these beauties up from everyones favorite auction sites.

Steve, you better get hopping, I might be building mine before you get yours done, and I have a few kits and scratchbuilds to do before I start on this one.

Theo63,

hey buddy it's SirChadwick getting back to you. I have been in the army now for the last 14months and I still haven't flown my big bird yet. I have had it running a few times when I was home on leave this past April. I have a problem with the rear hinges vibrating loose. That and I think Im going to have to bolt dowm the canopy, seeing it too has come loose from vibration. I thought I might need to balance the prop. So I did and it helped out a little but it still shakes the rudder loose. I'm going to try to get back home the end of July. I hope to maybe fix the problem and get this thing air born. I would love to think you have yours complete by now. If so post some picks I would love to see them. Well I need to run. Take care.

Chadwick.
