Default Unknown Cap 202/232

I have a Cap (i believe) that has a 72" wingspan and fuse is about 52" it is about the same size of a plane as the CG Extra 300 kit plane. I have no idea who made the kit. It does also have a built up wood cowl. I belive it would be a 90 to 120 size and I can post some pics of it.

thanks
Dunk

Dunk,

A Cap 232 has a tappered wing on both the leading and trailing edges. I also has a horizontal stab and elevator that is mounted higher on the Fuselage than an Extra or Giles 202. The leading edge of the horizontal stab is also positioned forward of the leading edge of the vertical fin. A dead give away for the GIles is that the wing has a straight trailing edge. Both are good aerobatic airplanes. When you post some pictures, I am sure someone will be able to help you out.

Fly safe and have fun!!
David
