I put the wing halves together on my 90" wingspan Piper J3 Cub by Great Planes. When I took the clamps off the dihedral is 1/4" more than it should be, leaving me with an 1/8" at each tip. Do you guys think this is going to cause me a big problem? I hope not because I'm stuck with it now![] An 1/8" over 45"s should be alright don't you think?

I wouldn't worry about it... I too think it will be fine and that you'll never notice... This biggest effect will be that you'll need slightly longer struts...

he struts are adjustable and functional. I will just have to let out some threads on the strut and the nylon bolt down. I hope this will be OK. I always wanted a Cub and this is my first one. Going to paint it in the Blue and white Hazel Sig's paint scheme, with Solartex fabric.

that is marginal for that size plane, i wouldnt worry about it too much.
