ok here we go.I just need to finish covering a 4-60 then the fun begins,I have another LT-40 to build, but this time seperate ailon servo, very little dihedral, tail dragger, bolt on wing, maybe a little more power, longer elevator, bigger tank.Any other ideas before we get to the building board?I would like to make it a little more than a trainer something to have a little fun with, and with the weather around here lately I do have the time.

Some folks like to take out a couple wing bays.

no dihedral, add flaps, slant the wing back, 4X the motor size.

Convert to a low-wing plane.

Nice idea the low wing, anybody got some plans on how to and does it matter that the tail feathers will probably be higher than the wing? Will there be a big difference in handling? I already have a low wing 4*60 and kind of like the high wing for a little less stress flying haha I like the ideas so far and I'm making my list before I get started although I do tend to change things as I am going.

There was an article in the March, 1994 issue of Radio Control Modeler on how to convert a high wing ARF to low wing. If no one in your club can provide the magazine you can order a photocopy of the article from the AMA Library.

CT Dave, I used to live in the Hudson Valley. What club do you fly with?

Hi well I am not with any club right now. still looking for a new one or at least a big field to fly in. It is not slowing my building down any though.

Ok then what town are you in? If you're on the west side of the Hudson, look into the SOURS, great bunch of guys.
