Good luck matching paint to this covering. It's not totally opaque and because of this, it will be a slightly different color depending on the color of the wood beneath it. I.E., you can very easily changes in the wood such as dark plywood or balsa glued to light colored balsa etc. My suggestion would be to cover the model and take the fuse, I'm assuming you want to paint the cowl, to the paint store so they can match the paint to the covering closest to the firewall.
