Default kit bash Reids Eight Ball

I have just picked up a Reids Eight Ball kit. I plan on using a G35 for power. What I would like to do is kit bash it. It is a high wing & I would like to make a low wing out of it. I think I can take one of the ribs & trace the rib outline on the plans. If I do it this way the incedence will be the same. Any ideas will be a help. The other idea is to turn the fusalage sides over & do it that way
