After some 3 years I'm finaly finnishing my TF P-39. My current plan is to cover it with tussue and nitrate dope, and use lustrakote or something like that for the color. But this is my first scale model and don't have a lot of experance with anything other than monokote, so if anyone has some ideas please post them. I don't want to fiberglass it or use monokote (already tried monokote and it looked cruddy). Thanks

Try using Klass Kote Over your tissue and Nitrate dope. It is fuel proof in fact impervious to just about anything.

I looked at the Klass Kote websight and it looks good but unffortanatly they dont have the colors I want. I Might use the clear as a final protective coat to though.
