was wondering does anyone have a picture or know a web site of a MEN 40. I recently found out that my dad use to make the kits. Just wanted to see one, so I might try and find one and build one for him as a surprise.

My Dad still has a MEN trainer in his basement that he flies. It is at least 20 years old. He had 2, the first one he sold for an outrageous price to a guy that wanted to get rid of it because my dad would smoke everybody in fun fly events with it. I flew it last year and really had to concentrate on the fact that the rudder was on the aileron stick and the left stick did nothing but throttle
My dad can do the most beautiful flat spins with it and it has an under cambered wing wit no ailerons
Wonderful plane[8D]

Not one to highjack the thread, but my first powered R/C was a MEN Trainer. I loved during short field take-offs and everyone yelling its “stalling, its stalling” and then drop the nose, it flew beautifully, this with an OS.20. What a fine plane. I miss the days when thing were so simple. I only wish I saved the plans, anyone know where a copy can be had?
