Default inexpensive 1/4 scale pilot?

I have seen inexpensive 1/4 scale pilots advertised but couldn't find the site. Wondered if anyone here knows of any sport pilot busts that would be in $25 or less price range? I want to use one in my Great Planes Ultimat Bipe .

Thanks in advance!

I know I am too late, but next time take a look at the pilots used in the Great Planes ARF's. Particularly the Super Stearman. I bought the military version for less the $ 6.00. It's only the bust, but it looks great and IMO is very inexpensive.

You know, DaveB , I knew I saw some pilots for under $10 somewhere - didn't realize they were in Great Planes ! Funny as I am building one of their planes. I will be building monowing this year so will try one of those pilots for sure... it will be int. to compare $8 pilot w/ $29 one.

Be careful. I think the cheap pilots have only trained on simulators.

How they can do this for $5.79 in painted condition is beyond me. Asian labor, no doubt. I haven't seen one in "real life", but at that price I will get one for my 1/5 biplane project.

Probably doesn't speak English, either. "Pull UP, Dummy!"

If you go to tower and search on "pilot" there are a bunch of civilian 1/4 scale busts. Most $13.79
