Default Plans for the Bushwacker

Hey everyone,

A couple days ago, I was out and about going to some garage sales. While just looking around I found an old R/C plane kit for sale. Its called the "Bushwacker" and its made by Mark's models. Naturally, I bought it in a heartbeat, and rushed it back to my house. The only problem is that it didn't come with any layout plans in it. I checked online a bit, and Mark seems to have stopped building planes. If anyone has the plans or knows where I could find them, I would greatly appreciate it. This really seems like a fun plane to fly!

Thanks in advance.

I fondly remember this aircraft as I had one about 30 years ago. It was a good flyer and I really enjoyed it. I built mine from a kit but don't have the plans, I checked. Have you tried the plans services of the magazines. I seem to remember either MAN or RCM had it as a construction article. RCM feels strongest. Their magazine may be out of business but the plans service still lives.

The Bushwacker was a fun plane a cross between a glider and sport plane. Really neat with the plywood muffler that you make for the 15 motor . It fits right in and cleans u[ the front of the plane, it doesn't last too long though.

It really does look like a fun plane to build and fly, since its so small. I checked RCM magazine's inventory of plans and they don't seem to have anything about the Bushwacker. I don't know where else to look, since the name "man" comes up with alot of things on google. I am really looking forward to building this plane!

Medic,

I did some searching for you and found that apparently you can order the plans for this kit from AMA Plans Services.
This link will lead you to the plan # and pertinent info. Just scroll down until you come to Bushwacker. [link]http://www.modelaircraft.org/plansall/b-plans.pdf[/link]
This link will take you to the order form. [link]http://www.modelaircraft.org/pondplansPDF/plansorderform.pdf[/link] There is also a phone number on the form if you want to call to discuss this order with them.
The AMA# for this plan is 31914 and the Pond# is 82C2. Looks like the plans are $15.00.

Good luck,

You don't know how happy I am that you found this! Thank you so much! I really wanted to build this plane, and now I will finally be able to! Thanks again. I will post pictures when I start building.
