I am looking at the Sig Somethin Extra .40 kit.
Any advise of other kits? Can you find very good deals
at Swap Meets or is it a wash usually?

The Sig SE is an excellent kit. Nice Laser cut parts, and great instructions. I don't know if you'll find one NIB at a swap meet, but it's not an outragously expensive kit anyway.

At swap meets if you know the products you may do good, to many times you are buying someones problems. Sig Midstar,Goldberg Tiger,any brand of stick plane,just to name a few.

You might try a Sig 4*40 or 60 or possibly a Venture 60. This assumes it's your next plane after a trainer. Both fly great and assembly is no problem.

A Sig Astrohog would be a good choice. Make it a tail dragger and cut the dihedral in half and it's a great plane.
