Bridi Utter Kaos 40

Tower bought the rights to the Super Chaos line and sold kits at one time. About 5 years ago they commissioned the 40 ARF set up. The 40 ARF flies in true "pattern" fashion.
The original Chaos/Super Chaos design had maple beam engine mounts that (with reliefs) straddled the tank. You were limited to an upright engine. Otherwise, there was considerable modification needed at the initial build phase. They were not usable with a four stroke as originally designed without machining new mounting beams and lengthening the fuselage cheeks.
The Bridi Utter Chaos and Direct Connection Ultimate Kaos have a stronger firewall with thicker fuselage doublers and a radial type engine mount that readily adapts to mounting the engine in your favorite position. However the supplied aluminum radial mount with the Ultimate Kaos tends to fatigue crack.
