I want to share my 1st experience in attempting to do business with this Canadian company.

I'm certain that there are legions of happy customers out there that have had meaningful dealings with Welasercut and to you I say, "glad it all worked out so well...". As for those of you, like myself, who may have had less than meaningful experiences, here's my latest email to them:

"Peter,

When we last spoke on Friday, February 22nd., you had indicated that my Wing Mfg.A-26 wood pack would,"most probably" get a custom cutout that weekend. You also alluded that the PayPal request would be emailed to me that following Monday or Tuesday. You asked that I send my email address to your attention personally, so as to not delay our transaction.

I've been waiting for that email request and today is March 6th. When I offered to pay you via my credit card while we were on the phone, you refused stating that an email to your attention would be a better audit trail as your desk was a shambles.

I respected that request but evidently, you aren't reading your email. This is my 3rd request to pay you money. I guess I just don't understand your customer service philosophy.

What have I missed? Everything I have read on RC Universe and other Internet sites have indicated excellent results with Welasercut. Again, was this all just hype?

I am most disappointed at this point and just don't know what has to be done to conclude my transaction with you.

I think it important to let the RC community know what to expect when trying to place a successful order with your company.

I feel I have been most patient under the circumstances."

Please understand that I am NOT trying to bash this vendor. Far from it. I WANT their product. I just can't seem to GET their product.

Anyone else having similar difficulties trying to do business with these guys????

Default RE: Welasercut.com

I'm all about fair and here is the reply I got just now from Peter:

HI Don,
Thank you for email.
The last few weeks have been an absolute disaster. We have been having
snow storms and unbelievably cold temperatures for 13 days straight.
Just making it in to the shop takes a few hours, and then trying to get
anything warmed up takes the rest of the day.
We have not been able to get a delivery truck in for well over a week as
the roads and highways have been closed.
Our Internet has been down, and the power keeps going on and off.
I have never seen weather like this before. I guess thats what we get
for living up here in the north.
I apologize for the delay. Everything is way behind right now.
I am working as fast as I can to get caught up.
