I just got a used Telemaster 40, It had Airtronics gear but I prefer Futaba so I swap it.
My problem is I have no clue on the throws or CG. I've search the forum and found the following conflicting opinions:
CG = 115 mm (4.5 in)
CG = put it on the spar (3.1 in)
Please HELP !!!
Thanks,

A good spot for CG is 25% to 33% of the wing's mean aerodynamic chord. Since it's a rectangular wing, it's simple--just measure the wing from front to back and multiply by .25 and .33 to get your CG range.
If I end up with a plane without knowing much about it, I usually set the High Rate throws to whatever extent is mechanically possible, damping with lots of expo. Then, I either set a low rate at about 40%-50%, or I set triple rates with mid at about 60% and low around 30%-40% of full deflection. It usually only takes a flight or two to get a feel for what the rates should be depending on your preferences.
