I've had one, my mentor built two. on teh second he increased teh elevator area. Getting the cg right is critical as is lateral balance. Make sure the control surfaces work nearly perfectly. It requires ALOT of a take off roll to build up airspeed before you rotate for take off, other wise it will roll in on take off. needs speeed for turns and landing. good luck, Doc

Think of it as the jet it really is, just with a prop on it. You have to fly it as a jet. LOOOONNNGGG takeoff roll to build up SPPED before you rotate, or it will rotate itself right in... Impressive plane when you get it going. Doc

I've heard they fly a lot like an Ultra Sport...they share pretty much the same wing, same airfoil anyway. Lots of work..If you like to build and like to glue ABS parts together (wing tanks, dummy engines) then you'll love this plane. I enjoyed building one but sold it to a fellow club member before it was finished.

Don't let it get overweight, that's all. After that, it will fly like a Patriot. It doesn't even land particularly fast...it's just that people tend to land them too fast. Take it up high and find out the slow flight handling. You'll soon find that it's really very manageable.

Only one I ever saw fly did not fly long!! Give it a looong take off because when it rotates the elevator becomes some what blocked and not very effective until speed is obtained. The one I saw took off, stalled, rolled over, and landed - crashed - and the owner moved on.
