I dont mind kit building, Im a long time RC heli pilot brand new to all things planes.

I thought everyone built a plane kit like we steer newbies away from ARF helis like they are the plague. Who wants to spend extra for a ARF bird only to strip it down and ensure the factory did indeed use locktite where they shouldve??

So I hauled butt to the LHS and told the guy no when he started the ARF spin. I walked out with my 1st kit a LT 40. I dont regret it one bit! Me and my wife are having a blast learning building! (Its her plane actually)

We have LHS help, guys from the field, ya'll on RCU/RCG, a EXCELLENT LT40 build thread by RCken...We dont rush as I still fly my helis.

Sad that ARFs are taking over look at the 3D planes I havent seen one that is a kit.

"read a couple of these from start to finish before you even open your box"

Come on now. "before you even open your box"!
It can't be done....at least not by me.
When that kit arrives I just gotta open the box.
I've got to see those goodies.
Besides, the package has to be checked for shipping damages. Right?

Go ahead, OPEN THE BOX.
