US 60's Lets see them
Hi Guys,
I am considering building 2 US 60's this winter one for me and one for a friend. I want to see some of the planes that are out there to get some good ideas from for finishing. Both planes will be built with stock landing gear and I may add flaps. Now lets see those birds!!

Ken,
I really like the looks of the Black one, I am assuming you had alot of the yellow on the bottom. It really looks sharp!!

I don't have an US 60, but I have two US 1000s, and assume the flying characteristics are very similar (meaning very good). One is a taildragger and the other has tricycle gear. I like the tricycle best. It lands at a remarkably slow speed, so I think flaps would be superfluous--other than just something else to play with. It's a great, and underappreciated, design.

I don't have an actual picture, but here's the color scheme I used on all of my Ultra Sports and it's VERY visible

I did it on a PT-60 using only two colors and I think it is outstanding that way too .... however if you show MinnFlyer a picture with only two colors he will probably poke a little fun at it
