Good day,
I have a couple of issues if anyone can help me. The first is I am looking for a set of retractable landing gear that looks like the real aircraft. I was told to go to www.centuryjet.com however I did not see a set that looked like the real a/c, and not to mention the ones i did see were 1300 dollars. Any ideas on this?
The second is, I have been building this kit off and on with my grandfather for a few years now. He recently passed away and his friend dealt with his estate while I was in iraq. She just so happened to throw away the scale bombadier and cockpit that my grandfather has hand carved (he flew b17's in WWII) can anyone tell me where I could get a somewhat close kit for the b17??

Hay Misfit47,
Call Robart...I believe they had a set of retracts for the Royal B-17. I have the kit too...with the cocpit kit they sold. I have seen the model fly, and it does fly well and it looks great. There have been companies that sold fiberglass cowls for the kit in the past...but I don't know of any now. You may want to call around and see what is available.
Soft Landings always,
