Hey all! Have a question for ya. I bought a C.G. Ultimate from J J Freestyle a while back. We can't figure out what the correct center of gravity is supposed to be. Do any of you guys know the answer to this dilema and would be willing to share the answer with us? Thanks a million.

Hi, Sorry to see nobody has answered your question yet.
The CG on the Carl Goldberg Ultimate is 1 7/8 to 2 7/8 inches from the leading edge of the bottom wing. I set mine to the middle of this range and it fly's well.

I use a 91fx and it has great vertical.
I've heard where alot of flyers use the 120 4C with outstanding results but the front of the fuse may need to be reinforced. You may want to do a search on here in the Kit Bulding forum and see if you can find out what should be done.

Mine weighs 8.75 lb with a Saito 120. I balanced it at the most aft position for honest flying characteristics. If a 120 is used, you'll have to move some gear aft. My Rx, batt, and servos are all aft of the lower wing TE.
