Looks good Aeronaut. Not bad for your second kit.
I'm building the same kit right now but I'm not as far along as you are. I'm up to the point where the tail is epoxied on.
What engine did you use? I went with a Saito 100

Thanks for the compliment. My choice of engine was based on my present economics. I went with a Tiger Shark .91 w/14x6 Zinger for run in. If this engine will perform, I got a great deal. Less than $140.00 for engine and pitts style muffler. I will post my impression of the engine as soon as I run it in.

Outstanding job! I am just now getting started on one (building the tail feathers) and I plan to go with a Saito 100.
Your covering job really looks great. I am especially impressed with the cowling, gear and wheel pants. Did you cover these or paint them? Is the covering Monokote? Did you use the supplied ABS cowling or an aftermarket?

Aeronaut,
You might want to think about buying a fiber glass cowl. I used the kit supplied ABS cowl on my ulimate, and it started cracking right from the first flight. Even with fiberglass reinforcement on the inside. For my extra, I'm going with the fiberglass cowl, but I'll stick with the abs wheel pants for now.
Have you flown the plane yet?

Hey looks good
I just flew mine for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I have a ST90 in mine and this thing flies like a dream. I have found no bad characteristics you are going to love this one! If I could figure out how to post a photo on this thing I would but oh well I guess I'll stick to building.

I have not flown it yet, but I should have the opportunity in the next week or so. Can't wait! It balanced out perfectly. I think it will fly beautifully.
