Seems like way too much price difference between Midwest and Tower balsa sheets. Midwest is nearly 3 to 4 times costlier than tower. Do we really find that much difference in quality or this is just a brand name for Midwest?
Thanks

There are others as well. My personal preference is Lone Star, good wood, good prices, and good service.

My local Hobby Lobby (the craft store) has a whole Midwest wood rack. Makes it easy to go pick out the wood you need. A new LHS just opened also and he carries balsa too. Have bought Tower before and it was decent quality. Just depends on the quality you seek.

I go along with Terry, LoneStar! And probably the only place you'll get contest balsa. If your building somthing really nice and worry over weight, send them a list or call. They will weight and match sheeting and sticks. Try that with TH.
Really depends on what your doing and how anal you want to be.
