Default Help! How much Ultracote is needed??

I'm planning to recover a H9 Edge 540 that I have stripped the covering from. I wanted to know how many rolls of Ultracote would I need? 3 rolls enough? Thanks

What size and wingspan? If it is the 1/4 scale version, you'll need around 4-5 rolls, depending on color scheme. If you do the whole plane in one color, maybe 4 rolls, but you'd have to be careful with your waste.

Yes, it is the 1.20 size plane with a 78" wingspan. I guess you're right. It will probably take a 4-5 rolls to get the job done. Anyone know if you can use H9 Easycoat and Ultracote together? I didn't know it was going to cost $50 to cover this plane. Thanks

I've never used easykote, but monokote and ultracote will stick to almost anything. Just make sure that the glue activation temperatures are the same or very close.
