Direct Connections kits the 40 size Doddger which is V-tailed. It is a sport plane and a Q-500 plane.

The Lanier Dominator (Q-500 plane) kit can be built with either conventional or V-tail. Should definitely be fun to fly, too!

From: Georgetown, TX,
Default SimpleFlyer!

I finished a SimpleFlyer about 3 weeks ago. (Ak Models) Has about 15 flights on it now, and I am still grinning when I fly it. I have an O.S. 45 FSR in it and flys nice.
Good speed too, as I was able to slightly outrun a Spitfire warbird with a .91FS in it. (and that Spit was not slow!)

Landings are a treat! I slow down on downwind, drop flags which slows the bird down to just above stall speed, give it a bit of power and it will land like it is on rails!

And, yes it does fly like the simulator!

Gee, ya think I like it?

Later!

If you can find one, there was a kit a few years back call the Killer V. They flew very well on standard .40 sized sport planes and looked good too.
