Hi flynpreacher,
I'm building the Hog Bipe right now, too! So far the only MUST DO that I've seen here on RCU is to make sure that you use the two servo aileron setup. The other mod that I've seen quite often was to move the landing gear ahead 1/4" to 1" if you fly off of grass. I am going to do that as I fly from rather tall grass. I am going to put Dubro landing gear on mine also, as I have seen some complaints about "alignment" and "flattening" of the stock aluminum landing gear. I have the Dubro landing gear on my SSE and I absolutly love it.
I am also going to add a cowl. I've been thinking about glassing my own. I like the looks of the "Ultimate" style cowl with the holes beside the spinner.
I'm just starting on my top wing. I made a small mistake on the sheeting. After I trimmed my leading edge sheet it still had a small gap ( 1/32" ) in the middle. I wasn't thinking and decided to "pull" the sheeting into place while I glued it. Don't do that! I just got done building a 1/32" warp into my wing! It's not very much, but it still irks me that I did it. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Hey thanks for the tips guys. Have been to the web site that you suggested and it is a good one. I will probably make most of the mods mentioned, especially the double servos for ailerons, and the landing gear.
Hey DJ. Rams Hog looks great! I am from S.W. Mo. but am more of a Chiefs fan, maybe I will do mine in a Chief Hog scheme!
Will probably ask for more tips later when i get started on it!
Thanks again!
