I was thinking of using Futaba S3010 High Torque servos all the way around on my new Stinger 120 kit. What would you recommend for a 1/4 scale bird in the 14lb range? I was also planning on mounting the servos for the elevator and rudder on the side of the fuselage down at the tail. I was going to connect everything with the Dubro Heavy Duty Control Horn System. Sound like a good or bad idea to you guys????? Let me know how you set your big birds up and pictures would be awesome too for show and tell.

As to mounting servos in the tail, I recommend you hold off on that untill you get the structure basically completed, then do a trial balance to see what effect addng a bunch of weight to the tail will do. My guess is that you will not go that option, but check it out before making a decision.
