Hi All,
I need your help. My brother is looking for a Cessna 182 kit to build and is looking for a .40 to .60 sized model. Probably like the GP ARF, but in kit form. I've spent a little bit of time on the internet, but can't seem to find anything other than the big GP that is IMMA legal. Does anyone know of a .40 sized kit? I know Goldberg had the Skylane, but I'm not sure if it still exists.
Thanks,
Doug

40 sized Cessnas are very popular these days, and the market demand is for the ARFs, not kits. About the closest you can get to a kit would be the Great Planes Cessna 182, which requires a considerable amount of measuring, drilling, cutting, fitting, and gluing. It can take more time to build the Cessna than it typically does for many kits, in fact. The Goldberg Heritage Cessna would be less challenging to build and fly.

Thanks for the info. I already told him he might have to settle for the ARF.[&o] It's good to know how much work goes into it!
