Default .40 pattern plane

I want to build a kit over the winter. I currently have a twist 40 but i want to get more of a pattern plane. It needs to be well powered by a .40 glow engine. Any idea's for a good kit?

This is an easy one. [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJ583&P=7]Great Planes Ultra Sport 40[/link] . While not a true pattern plane, it's still one of the best flying planes ever produced. Buy a couple kits as you'll absolutely fall in love with it one you fly it!!!!!

The tracer http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXPT20&P=0 is a good pattern choice as well. Do yourself a favor and buy some good servos and good linkages and you will have be happy.

The CA models Epsilon is a good pattern bird in the 40 sized but it will be a little pricey in the US when compared to the Tracer.

Utter Chaos 40 kit. Or buy a Tower Kaos 40 Kit from me! Actually I might just keep it and convert it to a Ultra Sport 40, just need a different canopy and turtle deck.

Some consider the Goldberg Tiger-2 to have flight characteristics like those of a pattern plane.

My Joe Bridi Utter Kaos was one of the straightest, truest fliyng planes that I ever had and completely rekitted in a rapid deceleration event when it was just a little too far out on a day that was just a little too grey... Doc

There is a couple on here, the Contact 140, or the Smart Move.

Just started to build the 140 myself.
The exchange rate won't help though, might make it a bit pricey.
