How can I make a removable canopy?

Hi All,
I'm trying to think of a simple way to make a removable canopy on my four star (120 size).
I had a couple of ideas, but I thought I would ask you guys to see what you come up w/, or maybe s/one has already done this.

I did it on my 4*60. Just added some hardwood rails to the cockpit sides and used a couple of screws. If I need to remove it, I'll have to remove the pinstripe tape that runs around the edge of the canopy. I did have to use a bit of glue to hold the rear corners down but it's still possible to remove it if I need to. Hope this helps.
The construction of that thing looks exactly like my 60-sized version, just larger.
