Default Senior Telemaster w/Ryobi 31cc

I know there are many "Telemaster" posts, but I have just ordered a Sr. Telemaster ARF and want to power it with a Ryobi 31cc engine. I have searched the forum high and low and have found only spatterings on the subject, but would really appreciate whatever information on completing this project is available. I'm sorry if I missed anything, but ........

Can anyone out there help?

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Flyerguy. Caught your post on the STM with Ryobi. I have used the Ryobi on several planes and really have no complaints about the engine. Also have some experience with the Sr Telemaster. The Telemaster has a wide range of engine choices and a lot of wing area so my guess is if you move the Ryobi back about and inch and a half it will probably balance okay and those big wings could probably carry the weight okay but seems a bit of an overkill. No matter what you power it with the Tele is still going to be a big ol' graceful lumbering bird which is its charm. If you want to run gas think about something in the 21-23cc range. Echo is a great choice and an easy conversion. Just my 2 cents worth. If you do decide to stay with the Ryobi keep us update on the results. Above all have fun.
