bridi kits

Review my thread of typical Bridi kit. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5156446/tm.htm]Bridi-Kraftkit 4 Seasons 40[/link]. If you can read plans and use an exacto blade ... go for it. I have the Utter Chaos 40 kit at home, and the two kits are a similar build.
This is similar to Bridiairplanes [link=http://www.bridiairplanes.com/hangar/krafty60.html]Krafty Sixty[/link].

The new Bridi kits are made by an outfit called Bluejay. (www.bluejayairplanekits.com ) My new Killer Chaos is the finest kit I've ever seen! Have not built it yet but the plans are strait-foreward as mentioned above, and the parts cutting is fantastic as is the wood. There should be no problem for someone to build a Bridi design, and Bluejay has done a masterful job of re-creating his designs and turning them into kits. Check them out! Q.

You won't regret it, the Dirty Birdy is a fantastic airplane! I built one over a year ago and I love it.
The one thing that I found was that drilling the wing pin holes a little later in the construction would have made setting the wing incidence easier. I discuss it and a few other things on this thread http://tinyurl.com/36p6yf . It's very easy to fix but even easier if you do it in a little different sequence as I explain in the thread.
Otherwise, it's easy to build and a great flying airplane.

The Bluejay wood is all machine cut and sanded. No laser cutting, no die crushing, no misfits, no tear out, no burned edges, no roundover, no nothing. The parts were perfect and fit exactly.
I'm a frequent scratch builder and enjoy cutting my own parts but I couldn't have made them this accurately.
