Default Another Hog Bipe Flies

Hi Folks,

I just conducted the first test flight of my new Sig Hog Bipe I built over the winter. She flies great. It is powered with a Magnum 91 4 stroke, inverted.

It will do any scale aerobatics you wish. It will also fly around slow and scale like a Waco. It is a blast to land. It will 3 point with the best of them and you can do very nice wheel landings as well.

I recommend this plane to anyone interested in a first time bi-plane. It builds easily, its not too big, and it isn't too small either. AND IT FLIES GREAT!!!! I have a 1/4 scale Pitts and I am having as much fun flying the Hog as I do my Pitts.

Here are a few photos

The cowl is a RV4 cowl from fiberglass specialties. My fuselage has been modified to fit the cowl better.

Default Nice job!

Good work on the bipe.
I got one here on RCU all ready built.

I have flown it with a Saito 72 and now I am using a Super Tiger 51.

The Hog Bipe is just one fun airplane to fly.

I love mine.

Nice job on the Hog, Scott. I sold mine a couple of years ago and miss it.

Default Hog Bipe

The Hog is a great flying airplane. This is the sixth season for mine. I have a Saito 91 in mine, flys it with plenty of authority.

Cheers!
