Default SIG 4* 40 Thrust Line / Engine Mounting

Hello,

For the above kit, the instructions say to trace the center line and thrust line on the F1 pieces. Where do you install the mounts in relation to the thrust line?

I cannot find any reference in the manual that states what the thrust line is used for (this is my first kit so perhaps SIG is assuming that builders know the term).

The photos makes it look like the nylon mount center holes are centered on the thrust line. When I line the mount's center holes (over the thrust line), the mounts protrude over top of the F1 assembly.

Any help is much appreciated!

Dave

PS. I'm mounting a Saito 56.

Look at the plans. it shows the thrust line , If I remember right , where the engine and engine mount meet , is the thrust line .

In the pics , the horizontal line . is the top of the engine mount beam .

Thank you for your quick reply. I was looking at another build thread and Chevypower had posted a few pictures of the mounts and F1...I believe you are correct.
